Michael Bulger, PGA Director of Player Development
Michael brings a wealth of teaching and coaching expertise to Game On Golf Center, where he will serve as the Director of Player Development this season. With a strong background in player improvement, he specializes in coaching programs designed to accelerate skill transfer from practice to the golf course. By integrating cutting-edge technology such as Trackman and K-Vest, Michael tailors his instruction to each student’s needs, optimizing movement patterns, clarifying key concepts, and delivering just the right amount of feedback for effective learning.
Before joining Game On Golf Center, Michael honed his coaching skills at Birchwood Country Club in Westport, CT, and previously served as the PGA Director of Player Development and Junior Golf Academy Director at The Patterson Club in Fairfield, CT. His dedication to junior golf earned him recognition as a Top 50 Master Kids Instructor by U.S. Kids Golf in 2015. Additionally, he spent six out of the past seven winters coaching at Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, FL. Earlier in his career, Michael spent eight years teaching at the prestigious Pinehurst Golf Academy under the mentorship of Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers Eric Alpenfels and Dr. Bob Christina.
A PGA of America member since 2000, Michael is certified as a TPI Level 3 Golf Practitioner and holds a BS in Accounting from Indiana University. With a passion for player development and a commitment to innovation, he looks forward to helping golfers of all levels achieve their goals this season.
