John Schob Teaching Professional

Bio

John Schob is a US Kids Certified Instructor with a passion for helping golfers of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential. Before joining the team at Game On Golf Center, John served as an Assistant Professional at Ardsley Country Club, where he coached junior clinics and provided private lessons.

A competitive player, John competes in Met Section events and is exempt from this year’s Met Open and Westchester Open. He played Division 1 golf at Manhattan College for four years and proudly won the prestigious Winged Foot Club Championship in 2021.

With his deep understanding of the mental side of golf and his love for the game, John is dedicated to helping you improve and enjoy your golf journey. Let him guide you to new heights on the course this season!

Kyla Jo Williams PGA Associate

Bio

A PGA associate based in the metro NYC area, she brings more than 20 years of experience to the world of golf instruction. Coach Kyla Jo began competing in Junior PGA tournaments at the age of 9, playing competitively through high school until she was ultimately named a Texas All State golfer in 2010 at 17.

Inspired by her experience, she has developed golf programs that introduces golf to youth and adults of all ages with the intention of preventing burnout and empowering new golfers. Through her program, players learn proper technique, appropriate etiquette, and most importantly grow new confidence in their ability to master the game.

Coach Kyla Jo currently holds certifications from TPI- Level 1, SwingCatalyst- Level 2, Leadbetter Kids, Leadbetter Level 1, GolfForever, and LPGA*USGA Girls Golf. Her teaching methods have been refined under the training of Sleepy Hollow Country Club’s Kevin Sprecher and the expertise shared by golf legends including David Leadbetter and Mike Adams.
